Web design is similar, in a very simplistic way, to traditional print publishing. Every Web site is an information display container, just like a book ; and every web page is like a page in a book. However, web design uses a framework based on digital code and display technology to construct and maintain an environment to distribute information in multiple formats. Taken to its fullest potential, web design is undoubtedly the most sophisticated and increasingly complex method to support communication in today's world.

  • The purpose of web design is to facilitate communication between customers and you 24/7.
  • Owning a small business can be stressful, and choosing the right and affordable Web site solution doesn't have to be.
  • Maintaining your Web site doesn’t have to mean long hours for you and your staff or expensive maintenance fees.

Most people who do not have a Web site that have a business are thinking about one, don’t have a Web site because they think it’ll be too much work, costly or are afraid of the unknown. If you want a Web site just do it and start small. You can build a Web site up a little at a time. Being found on the Internet is the most important tool you can have now-a-days no matter the size of your Web site

The best analogy I can give you to building a Web site is building a house. Let’s say you are interested in building a house. And you are the only one to live in your house, you only need a one bedroom/bathroom house, a kitchen and a family room. That is your base house, however, when we build it we are going to build it so we can add on to it easily for when your family grows.

While you are living in your house you do need to maintain it. Every Spring you need to do a Spring cleaning; purge stuff you do not need anymore and add stuff you need or want or possibly replace items such as a faucet or the carpeting. If you are very particular about your house you may need to update your house more often. It is always good to keep it up-to-date.

The same thing goes for a Web site, you choose the foundation of your business you decide on what services or products that business will provide. When your business grows and or changes we update your Web site to reflect that. It is that easy and with Coey Tech helping you along the way, the process is truly simplistic.

The Process is made easy with Coey Tech. We know that users should be considered throughout the Web site design process; who is going to use your Web site and what will they be looking for?

Coey Tech will help you design or re-design and develop or re-develop your Web site, not by you filling out a questionnaire but by actual phone conversations followed up by emails if necessary. We can help you determine your objectives and goals and help you define what type of site you need.

We can design logos help you find artwork, graphics, copy & text needed. What features do you want or need.

Here is the biggy, once we have designed your Web site and post it to the Internet we do not leave you high and dry. We have several options to help you keep your Web site up-to-date. Simple maintenance & updates can keep your Web site fresh for visitors so they keep coming back. See our guarantee and our online training available.

Once we have submitted an estimate of costs and you have approved it, work will begin. We normally require 1/3 of the estimated costs up front before work begins. However, we are flexible on this. Please mention payment plans if you believe this will assist your financial situation. We really do believe in working with you on this.

Throughout the design process, we will send you emails or call you to discuss what we are working on and if we need further information from you. We may also offer ideas about content and design. Your Web site will be posted to a temporary location so you can watch the progress and see it all come together. When we complete a portion of your Web site, we will notify you and ask you to review and approve the Web site thus far.

If you have new ideas for your site during the design and development process, you may bring those to us at any time -- even if those ideas involve reworking content, layout, image(s) or the whole site. If it ends up increasing or even decreasing the estimate, we will let you know and provide a new estimate and wait for your approval before continuing. This allows you to maintain full control of your costs and development of your Web site Minor tweaks and revisions are accepted throughout the design process with no additional charges.

Once the site is completely finished, we will again email you and request a full site review and approval. Once completed, we will invoice the remaining amount due and your site will be ready to be posted live to the World Wide Web!

A Web site can be designed in as little as 2 weeks (approximately) for an average size site (10-15 pages). The timeframe will depend on how quickly we receive requested information from your organization, the design approval stage, and other glitches that may occur. Otherwise the amount of time for this phase can vary greatly depending on the size of the site and how much content has been provided by the client. However, we have been in business for 10 years now and our estimates in price and in timeframes have always been on time.
